SAHASH has changed the lives of more than 50000 children in villages and slums across 4 states in India. We worked on principle of transparent and rights based approach.
Why Partner with SAHASH
• We're transparent:
Our financials are public, and have been for over a decade. As an organisation, we are mandated to carry out an annual external financial audit.
• We manage and monitor our projects:
We manage and monitor our projects stringently to ensure efficient utilisation of funds. Projects are also regularly assessed by professionals to measure progress against plans. Meetings with project staff, parents, children and community groups help us gauge progress.
• We stand for Lasting Change:
We focus on mobilisation and empowerment of communities. Our approach gets to the root cause of these developmental issues – like non-access of education to poor children, non-access of farmers scheme, unemployment & poverty from their rights and enable change that can sustain itself.
- Give your brand visibility
- Partnering with us. Be a part of our endeavour to make lasting change.
- Enhance your brand image and be known as a socially conscious organisation.
- Give employees the chance to make a difference.
Adopt a Project
SAHASH acts as a link between you and your selected project. We are responsible for monitoring its working through our Development Support Unit. SAHASH also continues to provide non-financial inputs to the project, like training, technical expertise, build capacity, information on human rights and schemes for farmers, communication and campaign support.
When you adopt a project, you can choose to support an entire project or just a part of it, based on its area of focus - like education, health, vocational training, rural development, women empowerment or its area of work - child-related issues such as the discrimination against the girl child, child labour, and so on. Some organisations have chosen projects near their plants. Others have focused on projects in a particular state, which they felt needed development.

As a corporate, you can use your marketing channels for innovative ways to support SAHASH efforts. You can focus on what you do best - marketing, and you help SAHASH in the process. We call this 'cause-related marketing.'
- Donate proceeds from the sale of a product or service - We help organisations work out special promotions, from which a percentage of the profits is donated to SAHASH.
- Provide a platform for SAHASH - You can use your goodwill and influence with your customers, clients, suppliers, and associates to provide a forum for SAHASH efforts. The Few Hotels had specially designed and printed envelopes placed in all their properties for their guests to contribute to SAHASH.
"Your small contribution can change someone's life"
As a corporate house you can give the individuals in your organisation the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. Payroll Giving is probably the easiest way you can make a difference in the lives of the needy. All you have to do is enlist the support of all your colleagues and get them to contribute a small sum towards SAHASH development initiatives. This amount goes directly to those who are in need. With Payroll Giving, you can make a big difference by giving just a little. This is a simple and easy to execute idea whereby employees set aside a small sum from their salaries each month. This amount is deducted every payday and sent to SAHASH by payroll office as a consolidated amount monthly. Companies can choose to match employees’ contribution thus increasing “giving” amongst employees.
Employees receive a payment summary letter or email from Payroll at the end of the financial year along with a tax exemption certificate under section 80G(When we received permission) from SAHASH. And this forms an easy yet effective way to support the community needs and is immensely popular among corporate bodies.
Over the years SAHASH has initiated, launched and organised events to amplify the voice of rural villagers and their rights. Events form an integral part of SAHASH as it enables us to create awareness on the situation of Farmers, Children and women and simultaneously raise crucial resources.
These events focus on specific issues - from influencing farmer policies, to rehabilitation efforts in disaster and natural calamities, to creating awareness on the situation of children. Our campaigns have always involved the public, our citizens. Your support is crucial to bring about social change in the lives of rural villagers and their communities. By sponsoring a SAHASH event, you not only ensure that your brand or organisation reaches out to a wide range of people, but also partner SAHASH in raising the necessary funds.
Khel-Khel Mai Padhai is a national level programme of SAHASH, which is committed to providing basic education to underprivileged children. SAHASH believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, there's no better place to start than in the corridors of education.
Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; means, because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behavior to understanding one's rights, and in the process evolve as a better citizen.
SAHASH initiatives include Pre-school [3-6 yrs], Non Formal Education [6-14 yrs non-school going], Remedial Education Centre[6-14 yrs school going] and Bridge Course [14-18 yrs drop-outs]. It works for education for needy children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poorest of the parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered.
Since its inception in 2006, more than 1,000 children have directly benefitted from our programme.
Most of the youth are not able to get employment due non proper guidelines and carrier counseling. It is not their lack of theoretical knowledge that causes this. Instead, it is the lack of right skills and attitude.
SAHASH Training Centre is such an initiative of SAHASH that aims at creating a pool of young and independent people, from the marginalized section, through skill enhancement in tandem with market requirements. It is an effort towards bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the fast emerging services of modern India
This national level programme trains the rural and urban underprivileged adolescent youth in English Proficiency, Basic Computer Education and Tailoring.
So far, more than 3,000 youth have been trained.
“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs
Each one of us has the inclination to do good, to give back to society. But there are many hurdles along the way. Paucity of time, lack of surplus funds, and most of all, the logistics involved. Wouldn’t it be great if someone could take away the hassle out of community service and just leave you with the satisfying feeling of having done good.
SAHASH Employee Engagement programme is specially designed to guide corporates, through the often unfamiliar territory of volunteer community service. Backed by our planning expertise and with our vast network of partners, we custom design these programmes to suit the needs and interests of your organization. The programme is spread across 4-5 hours and activities such as painting, dancing, singing, etc are undertaken during the programme. In each activity, a volunteer is assigned a set number of children to supervise and interact with.
SAHASH prepares, coordinates and executes all aspects of the project, including logistic support for the programme. All that you and your team have to do is, show up, have fun and go through a truly rewarding experience. The Employee Engagement programme aims to bring fun and result-oriented social contribution.
