1. State Coordinator

Job Profile

Each State Coordinator is required to take up comprehensive quality monitoring of each development project at Project Implementing Agency (PIA) level to evaluate the field level implementation of wadis as well as their impact on the livelihood of the farmers/beneficiaries. The primary duties and responsibilities of the State Coordinator shall be as follows:

  • Take-up ward level monitoring for sample checks
  • Regularly supervise/guide the activities of the Enumerator and ensure timely collection of field data
  • Ensuring submission and review of work plan & actual work done by enumerators
  • Validate the data procured by Enumerators
  • Fortnightly reporting of the progress of the projects to the National Coordinator
  • Regular coordination/liaison with National Coordinator
  • Monitor tribal projects at PIA level to check intervention-wise physical & financial progress vis-à- vis sanction and release of fund
  • Examine transparency in the processes and fund management
  • Identify warning signals and suggest mid-course corrections
  • Document / Reflect on the innovation and success stories
  • Assess Impact of project interventions
  • Identify convergence with programmes of other agencies and government schemes / programmes
  • Identify the ways for processing and marketing of wadi produce
  • Identify the scope for formation of Farmer Producers’ Organisation (FPO) in project areas
  • Write Project Level Report on half-yearly basis identifying qualitative observations
  • Write State Level Report (including district-wise & PIA-wise analysis) on half-yearly basis or as per the periodicity as decided from time-to-time
  • Submit the work plan & report work done to the National Coordinator / Vertical Head on periodic basis
  • Any other work related to the captioned project assigned by SAHASH, from time to time
  • Eligibility Criteria

    i. Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 60% marks / equivalent CGPA in Agriculture / Agriculture Engineering / Agronomy / Horticulture / Crop Science / Environment Science / Sociology / Social work or any other related stream from a recognised University or Institution; OR
  • Any Graduate having post-graduation with 55% or Ph.D (awarded) in the above mentioned streams
  • ii. Experience

  • Minimum 05 years of experience in Rural / Social Development Sector post qualification for Graduates in relevant field; OR
  • Minimum 03 years of experience in Rural / Social Development Sector post qualification for Post Graduates /Ph.D in relevant field.Fresher can also apply.
  • Other Criteria

  • Proficiency in using tools such as MS Office and other computer related functions for day-to-day functioning
  • Proficiency in English language (reading, writing and speaking) and knowledge of Hindi/local language of the state for which they are applying.
  • Academic credentials viz. publications, awards, etc. is desirable

    Job Profile

  • 3. Block Coordinator

    Job Profile

    The Block Coordinator is responsible for all the field co-ordinators and village coordinator members in a block. The Block Coordinator should provide guidance and support to the Field Co-ordinators and village coordinator and ensure the task completed in each village by village coordinator under his block.Primary duties and responsibilities of the Block Coordinator shall be as follows:

  • To spread awareness of all policies, schemes and advocacy.
  • To achieve all tasks set towards the cause given by the NGO.
  • Community mobilization Enrollment, liaison
  • Empowerment and trained the women leaders to speak and knowledge about their rights.
  • Conduct a door to door survey to gather information on out of school children, school facilities,
    teacher motivation, accessibility of school, community issues, employment etc.
  • Identify the gaps between the offices and common people.
  • Identify the problems of villagers and coordinate with the officials.
  • Enrollment drive in each village and collect the information of dropouts and never enrolled in schools.
  • Organise meetings and discuss the problems to resolve the issues through different government departments.
  • Advertising for the position by word of mouth to village coordinators, farmers & local officials.
  • Daily report writing
  • Fortnightly and monthly meetings with Field Coordinators and District Program Manager
  • Eligibility Criteria

    i. Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s in social work/Diploma in Social Work
  • A minimum experience of 2 years as social worker.

  • Many trips, between 15 to 20 days in rural areas

  • 4. Village coordinator

    Job Profile

    The Village Coordinator is responsible to coordinate all members in a village. The Village Coordinator should provide guidance and support to the Field Co-ordinators and member in village and ensure the task completed in village by members of village.Primary duties and responsibilities of the Village Coordinator shall be as follows:

  • Village coordinator work as directed by block coordinator for various activities.
  • Commit certain numbers of hours on a weekly basis.
  • Generate resources for the events.
  • Keep records of the events conducted under SAHASH banner in the form of pictures as well as articles or news clipping and sent to head office by email
  • No traveling allowance will be given to any SAHASH coordinator.
  • Do not promote own business through SAHASH platform.
  • Coordinators are appointed with their concurrence and are expected to devote some time every week to SAHASH activities. If he/she is unable to perform any action for 30 days without adequate reason, then he/she will be advised to vacate the position to give the opportunity to someone who is able to take on the responsibilities.
  • SAHASH cannot be held accountable for any of individuals wrong actions..
  • All the appointments are only for a defined tenure.
  • Legal proceeding, if any with coordinator or SAHASH will be under Amethi court Jurisdiction..
